Best Western Plus Eau Claire Conference Center Hotel, Eau Claire

Upon arrival, the room temperature was quite cold, but once settled, the spacious room accommodated a pullout couch with ample walking space. The room was spotlessly clean, adorned with thoughtful touches that catered to everyone's needs. The staff showed dedication to going above and beyond while maintaining a pleasant demeanor. However, some aspects of the hotel did not meet expectations.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with amenities, but there was a musty smell and mold issue behind the wallpaper by the window. The service was excellent, with a friendly and courteous staff, although the lack of a family restaurant was a downside. The location was convenient for a road trip, but the noise from the nearby facilities like the laundry, ice, and beverage machines was a bit bothersome. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with a typical breakfast offering but a major setback of getting sick from rancid butter. Despite the ups and downs, the facilities were satisfactory and functional.
